Board of Assessor"s Meetng <br />Open Session Minutes <br />January 23, 2020 <br />A Meeting of th,,e Board of Assessors was hold on January 23, 2020 at 8,45 a.m. in the Reed Meet ng Room of the Town Hall <br />B06, -ng, <br />In attendance' Gregory Johnson, Chairman, Edmund 0. Grant, Member, Casimir Groblewskil. Member, Robert F. Lent. Director of <br />Assessting, and Sandra Pentedemos, Administrative Assessor. <br />J <br />r" m m� 1 111:11,10" <br />Aobert Lent presented a spreadsheet for the Overlay Fund status in preparation of the Moodys conference call scheduled later with <br />Carolyn Kosnoff, Assistant Town Manage of Finance/Finance Director The Board reviewed the Overlay Surplus and an overview c4 <br />i -ending unsettled real estate litigations. <br />Chairman Johnson made a motion that the Board of Assessors go into Executive Session under Purpose 7 in order to deliberate <br />Statutory Exemptions, Real Estate Abatement Applications and Personal Property Abatements since deliberation in Open Session <br />could be detrtmental to potential appeal or litigation matters, consistent with requirements and practices specified in the Open <br />Meeting Law Guide. <br />IT, <br />Upon mobon duly made and seconded, the - oard of Assessors adjourned the Executive Session at W11,110 a.m. and returned to <br />Open Session of the Meeting. <br />The Board unan'mously voted 3-0 in favor of resolving the calculation error and correct the issued biWng of the Fiscal Year 2018 TIF <br />gr rn nt exist'ng with the Town and Shure Human Genetic Therapies, Inca now Ta keda Ph armace utica I Company "Taked a" a rid <br />Patriot Properties "Patriot" former owner of the land parcels in Lexington where Takeda is located (See Executive folder). <br />There were no Fiscal Year 2020 Chapter 59, Section 59 Real Estate Abatement app,"'ications, nor were there any Personal Property <br />Abatement applications, <br />There were no Fiscal Year 2020 Chapter 59, Section 5 Various Clauses of Statutory Exemption applications. <br />There were no discussions of pending Appellate Tax Board actions.
