PUBLIC COMMENT There was no public comment offered at this meeting. 3. MINUTES Approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting of December 10, 2019 Upon a motion by Weidong Wang and seconded by Melinda Walker the Board voted to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 10, 2019, all members having received copies. Perry and seconded by Weidong Wang, the Board voted to accept the Bills and Checks as presented for December 2019. LHA Financials; FY2020 Budget Approval The FY20 Budgets were approved last month retro to 7/1/19. The Board reviewed the December financials which reflect this budget. We continue to be in good financial shape. Upon motion by Weidong Wang and seconded by Melinda Walker, the Board voted to approve the December 2019 financials. FISH# 155114-Low Bid Approval-Vynebrooke Village Exterior Light project The bids were received 12/13/19. Cullen Electric was the low bid in the amount of$86,000.00. Upon motion by Richard F Perry seconded by Melinda Walker, the Board voted to approve the low bid from Cullen Electric in the amount of$86,000.00. FISH# 155109-Emergency Generator Change Order-$22,132.92 The propane tank requires a vaporizer to convert the liquid propane to gas. The change order price includes cost of vaporizer, cement pad and trench work. After a brief phone conference with the architect during the meeting to explain, the Board approved the Change Order. 2 Upon motion by Richard F Perry seconded by Melinda Walker, the Board voted to approve the Change Order 41 in the amount of$22,132.92 to HUB Electric. Federal Roofing Project-Change Order-$21,500.00 The change order is for gutters, downspouts and leaf guards, which were not included in the original bid and scope of work, in the amount of$21,500.00 Upon motion by Richard F Perry seconded by Melinda Walker, the Board voted to approve the Change Order 41 in the amount of$21,500.00 to Belcour Corp. Project Updates The Scattered Sites roofing project is 100% done with roofs and 85% done with gutters. It is projected to be complete by 2/17/20. Work started at Pine Grove on 1/6/20. The contractor is on schedule. The second phase will start in February with relocation. F. MHP-Vacant Land-Due Diligence Report Bohler Engineering was hired to conduct a study to determine the plausibility of creating new units at Greeley Village. Their report showed extensive bedrock what would require blasting and most likely concrete retaining walls in order to build between existing buildings. The report findings conclude that is not cost effective to add more housing to that location. G. State PH Facility Condition Assessment visit 1/30/20 DHCD has contracted EBI Consulting to conduct the assessment of a sampling of state properties. It is done every 5 years. H. Governor Appointee Vacancy The Board has tabled this for 2/18/20. 3 L Office Hours The administrative office staff hours were changed to Monday-Thursday 7:45am- 4:00pm and Friday 7:45am-12pm. 6.
