FOSTER, Constable of Lexington, <br /> GREETING : <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby required to notify <br /> and warn the inhabitants of the town of Lexington, qualified by law to vote in State, District, <br /> and County affairs, to assemble at the Town Hall, on Tuesday, the second day of November, <br /> A.D., 1897, at six o'clock, A.M., to cast their ballots, for the following State, District and County <br /> officers, viz. :— . <br /> Governor, Lieutenant-Governor, Secretary, Auditor, Treasurer and <br /> Receiver General, Attorney-General. <br /> Councillor for Sixth District. <br /> Senator for Fifth Middlesex District. <br /> Representative in the General Court for Thirteenth Middlesex Dist. <br /> County Commissioner for Middlesex County for three years, <br /> County Treasurer for Middlesex County for three years. <br /> Register of Deeds for Southern Middlesex District for three years. <br /> The election officers will receive votes for the above on the official ballot prepared by the <br /> Secretary of the Commonwealth. The polls will be opened immediately after the organization <br /> of the meeting and will be kept open until four o'clock, P. M., and as much longer as the meet- <br /> ing may direct, not to extend beyond sunset. <br /> Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, on or <br /> before the time of said meeting. <br /> Given under our hands at Lexington, this seventh dap of October, A. M., and at Town Officer's Room, <br /> Town Hall Building, on SATURDAY, October 23, 1897, from r2, M., to io o'clock, P. M., at which time <br /> registration for the State Election will close. <br />
