S. James (sum for distribution bam [?] hlleh [?]) Tellers app BC Whitaker & E. Benninck [illegible] H Reed Abram B Smaith - and sworn by the Clerk At 11.40 it was voted that the remaing articles on the warrant be postponed til 1 1/2 [illegible] P. M Art 2. Mr M.H. Merriam for Drainage Committee made a verbal report saying that the work is progressing and asks for further time. Also that an additional appropriation of $300 be made to pay for said plans. Mr. W Smith made a recommendation that the moderator decide who he did not vote until the majority on the question. His motion could not be entertained viz see under committee report before accept and of them and granted and before any max terms meeting opened same Committee [illegible] unlimited [?] compare with motion & refer at next meeting Art 5. Mr. W. Smith moved that the sum of $2000 be made for support of Poor ensuring year. granted Art 6. Voted, that the sum of $5000 be app for the Completion of order of Con Com and general repair for the ensuing year (Mr. R.T Bryant made some objections with use of serport [?] voted. Art 7. Voted That the sume of $11.500 be app for the maintain of the Public Schools the ensuing year. Art 8. Voted. That the sum of $1100 be app for support of the Department the ensuing year and the app include the expen [?] of fifteen [?] communities [?] Art 9.
