The foreAoin,g changes are hereby appro od as represented
and described, and this day ordered to be attached to the Contract .
All claims for extension of time within which to complete
the building, based upon alterations , changes and additions already
ordered (including those en.-braced herein) and for any suspension of
the work based upon the agreement of July. 22, 1902, ;:ncd for further
suspension as ordered by the arahitoets under letter of Aug. 49
1902, are hereby adjusted and arreed to as entitling the contractor
to seven days , and only seven days , beynnd September r uh, 1902s
i . e . to September 13th, 1902; it being; the intent herao; Ito provide
that all parts of the work heretofore and now respectively contract-
'ed for shall be completed not later than said thirteenth day of
September, and that the fifty dollars ($50 . ) per day liquidated
damages stipulated :in the main contract shall accr-i i as to each and
every day, if any, 'beyond September 13th, 1902, on which any part
of the work shall remain uncompleted. As a part of this provision
as to extension of time , it is mutually agreed that th(. deliveries
of kiln-driod f ish shall be withheld until Friday, August Sth
curraxlt# and that the work of putting such finish in place (tea be
susp .d d until, then) may be begun on said Friday and prosecuted
without interruption thereafter.
The Contractor hereby acknowledges the receipt of th-,e
specifloations and drawings representing and describing the above
mentioned alterations, changes and additions .
