Ɏ <br /> <br />Lexington Housing Partnership Board <br />Ms. Walker moved that the HPB support Article 38, Amend Zoning Bylaw and Zoning Map, 186 <br />Bedford Street and that the chair contact the town meeting moderator for time at Town <br />Meeting to read a letter in support at town meeting. Mr. Pressman seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />The HPB discussed the proposed content of the letter to be read at town meeting. Ms. Weiss <br />will create a first draft. <br />3. LexHAB <br />For Lowell Street housing, LexHAB is considering building two triplexes as prefab (manufactured <br />housing) in New Hampshire. LexHAB members will be meeting with the prefab companies who <br />are candidates for building the housing. <br />LexHAB is also working on better processes and procedures and on better communication of <br />housing resources. <br />4. Lexington Human Rights Committee Fair Housing Training <br />Tabled until the next meeting. <br />5. LIP application 3 homes at Jefferson Drive (Grove Street) <br />The Select Board approved the LIP application at a recent meeting. <br />6. 40R and 40S, Starter Home Initiative and Housing Production Plan <br />The full discussion was tabled. Ms. Corcoran-Ronchetti suggested that we focus on 40R, the <br />residential portion of the regulations, and not on 40-S, which discusses schools. <br />7. Website name and rename <br />Ms. Cohen suggested that the Housing Partnership Board consider renaming the Board website <br />to reflect official name of the group. The address for the website is <br />LexingtonHousingPartnership.org, which uses the colloquial name for the Board. The website <br />can also be reached through a secondary URL, lexhopa.org. One alternative would be to make <br />LexHousingPartnershipBoard.org the main name for the website and make the secondary <br />address LexingtonHousingPartnership.org. <br />8. Article <br />Boston Affordable Housing Conference April 9 <br />at 7:30 at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf. <br />9. New Business <br />Ms. Walker informed the HPB that the Massachusetts Municipal Association now supports Bill <br />H.4075, An Act to Promote Housing Choices. This bill is known informally as <br />Housing Choice bill. <br />10. Action Items <br />There was no update regarding the action items. <br />11.
