Davis and acknowledged the foregoing instrument to be the free act and deed of said the Lexington Field and Garden Club.- Justice of the Peace. Vote.- At a meeting, of the Lexington Field and Garden Club holden April 71 1897 and called for the purpose,the following vote was passedi Voted: That the Lexington Field and Garden Club convey to the Town of Lexington the tract of land known as Hastings Park, conveyed to it by Carlton A. Staples, by, his deed dated Aug. _29, A. D. 1891, and recorded with Middlesex, 0,Dist. Deeds, lib. 20170, fol. 258 provided said Town shall accept the eonveyance pursuant to the vote already passed in Town Meeting .April 5, 1897, under -Article 1� in the tarrant for the .Annual March meeting 1897. Mr. George 0. Davis, the treasurer of the corporation is hereby authorized to execute and deliver such conveyance for the nominal consideration of one dollar.
