Money Available as of 3/31/15 Income $71,135 <br /> Principal $139,787 <br /> <br />2. Human Services: <br />a. Human Services Report: September 16, 2014 to May 5, 2015. <br />Charlotte Rodgers reported that fuel assistance requests were down this period <br />compared to the same period for the prior year. Funds were provided for rent <br />payments, utility bills, recreation scholarships (paid from the Recreation Enterprise <br />Fund) and grocery cards. <br />b. Ratify Human Services Request - $2,000 for back rent (Sept. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. <br />c. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,000 for dental work (Oct. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. <br />d. Ratify Human Services Request - $5,000 for Human Services Emergency Account <br />(Nov. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. <br />e. Ratify Human Services Request - $500 for Grocery Cards (Oct. 2014) – Ratified 4-0. <br />f. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,255 for TJ Maxx Gift Cards (Nov. 2014) – <br />Ratified 4-0. <br />g. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,000 for TJ Maxx Gift Cards for Homeless (Dec. <br />2014) – Ratified 4-0. <br />h. Ratify Human Services Request - $1,311.47 for Rent (Feb. 2015) – Ratified 4-0. <br />i. Ratify Human Services Request - $825 Security Deposit and Key Change (April <br />2015) – Ratified 4-0. <br /> <br />3. Other Issues: <br />a. Request for $7,450 for Center Spring Barrels ($6,600 for plantings and $850 for <br />10 new barrels). – Approved 3-0-1. <br />b. Noted the letter regarding Estate of Claude Brenner. The Fund was mentioned in <br />his will. <br />c. Discussed the differences between the Fund for Lexington and the Human <br />Services Fund and when each fund should be used. Will bring back to a later <br />meeting. <br />d. The Board noted that Father Colletti would be soon leaving Lexington and <br />thanked him for his services on the Board. <br /> <br />4. Next Meeting <br /> The next meeting will be on September 29, 2015. <br /> <br />5. Approval of the September 16, 2014 minutes - Approved 4-0. <br />
