<br />MINUTES <br /> <br />FUND FOR LEXINGTON BOARD <br />December 10 2018 <br />4:30 p.m., Dawes Room, Town Offices <br /> <br /> <br />Present: Doug Lucente, Chair; Suzie Barry; Norman Cohen, Alan Fields, Paul Shupe, Alan <br />Wrigley and Melissa Interess, Acting Director of Human Services; Tony Serio, Assistant <br />Director of Family and Youth Services and Kim Katzenback, Executive Clerk to the Board of <br />Selectmen. <br /> <br />1. Money Available as of 11/30/18 Income $ 3,068.78 <br /> Principal $ 298,240.39 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. Human Services: <br />a. Human Services Report: September 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018 <br />Melissa Interess reported on the activity for the period. The Fund dispersed $2,510 to <br />purchase TJX gift cards for families approved by the Human Services Holiday <br />Program. The Human Services Emergency Fund was used to purchase Market <br />Basket food cards and to provide assistance for two Eversource utility bills. Melissa <br />reviewed the Recreation Scholarship used for camps/clinics this season which <br />included ski) <br /> <br />b. Ratify Human Services Request - $2510 for TJX Holiday gift cards for families in <br />need - approved 6-0 <br /> <br />3. Other Issues <br />a. Report on Annual request for Funds <br />The annual letter requesting donations for the Fund was sent in November. As of the <br />date of this meeting, $11,085 has been deposited. <br /> <br />4. Next Meeting <br /> The next meeting is scheduled as follows: <br /> March 11, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following are the proposed dates in 2019: <br /> June 10, 2019 <br /> September 16, 2019 <br /> December 9, 2019 <br /> <br />5. Approval of September 17, 2018 Meeting Minutes. <br />On a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 6-0 to approve the September 17, <br />2018 meeting minutes. <br />
