The Recreation Committee has recommended to set up one display unit as a test at <br />Lincoln Park. <br />Ms. Barry said she and Mr. Malloy held a meeting to discuss the possibility of a delegation to go <br />to Antony France. In addition, she said The Town of Lincoln is now chairing the Hanscom Area <br />Towns Committee. <br />Mr. Sandeen said last week he presented an overview of Sustainability to the residents at <br />Youville Place; attended a climate resilience roundtable hosted by Congresswoman Katherine <br />Clarke, attended the Lexpride and Community Coalition event and attended the Lexington <br />Garden Club Arbor Day Celebration. <br />Town Manager Report <br />Ms. Axtel said MassDOT will be doing some milling work starting on May 5, 2019 between <br />8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. in the area of Route 225 off ramp. In addition Ms. Axtell gave a brief <br />update on some major projects: masonry work is being done on the Lexington Childrens Place <br />(LCP), DPW has begun work on Pelham Road, Hastings project first floor slabs have poured, <br />work is progressing on the new Lexington Fire Station Headquarters and Visitors Center is being <br />packed up for the move to the temporary location in Cary Memorial Building.. <br />Grant of Location- Eversource - Massachusetts Avenue, Grant Street, & Bedford Street <br />Ronit Goldstein, Ken Rice and Maureen Carroll from Eversource explained the petition submitted <br />by Eversource Energy for the purpose of obtaining Grants of Location in Massachusetts Avenue, <br />Grant and Bedford Streets Grant of Location to install approximately 742 feet of conduit in <br />Massachusetts Avenue, Grant and Bedford Streets and to install three (3) manholes on <br />Massachusetts Avenue. <br />Dawn McKenna, 9 Hancock Street, expressed concern regarding the noise that might come from <br />the trucks during overnight work. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 to approve Grant of <br />Location to Eversource Energy to install approximately 742 feet of conduit in Massachusetts <br />Avenue, Grant Street and Bedford Streets and to install three (3) manholes on Massachusetts <br />Avenue as shown on the plan filed by A. Debenedtictis dated April 4, 2019. <br />Portion of Pelham Road Acceptance - Order of Taking <br />Town Meeting voted under Article 28 of the 2019 Annual Town Meeting to accept a portion of <br />Pelham Road. The next step in the process is for the Board to vote the Order of Taking. <br />Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 to approve the Order <br />of Taking for Pelham Road as written. <br />Selectmen Liaison Assignments <br /> <br />
