Approval of General Bylaw and Zoning By-Law Amendments of the
2018 March Annual Town Meeting
DATE: August 10, 2018
Notification has been received from the Office of the Attorney General, dated August 7, 2018 of
the approval of amendments to the General Bylaws and Zoning By-Laws as voted at the 2018
March Annual Town Meeting.

Zoning By-Law:
Article 38 – Amend Zoning By-Law and Map in Commercial District/Marrett Rd (Citizen Article)
General ByLaws
Article 32 – Amend General ByLaw – Regarding Financial Committees (Citizen Article)
Article 33 – Amend Town Bylaw – Ban Plastic Bags (Citizen Article)
Article 39 – Amend General Bylaws - Turning Mill Neighborhood Conservation District
Article 40 – Amend General Bylaws - Pierce Lockwood Neighborhood Conservation District
Article 44 –Amend General Bylaws - Demolition Delay Amendments
In accordance with Ch. 40 §32 of the Massachusetts General Laws, these amendments are hereby
posted in a public place in each precinct of the Town for public inspection. Amendments to the
General Bylaws take effect on the date of posting. Zoning By-Law amendments are deemed to
have taken effect from the date voted by Town Meeting.
Maps and documents pertaining to Zoning Articles may be viewed at the Planning Office and
Town Clerk’s Office.
Claims of invalidity by reason of any defect in the procedure of adoption or amendment of
Zoning Bylaws may only be made within ninety days of this posting. Copies of the Zoning By-
law and Map may be examined and obtained at the Planning Department Office in the Town
Office Building, 1625 Massachusetts Avenue.
