INFORMAL DISCUSSION
1106 Massachusetts Avenue: Bill Erickson, exterior changes in the East Village District. Applicant
proposed an addition to the rear portion of an existing single family home.

Review and Vote on whether to sanction unapproved work at 1024 Massachusetts Avenue: Chair
Eccles reviewed alterations from the approved plan set for 1024 Massachusetts Avenue. After some
discussion Commissioner Paul O'Shaughnessy proposed a motion that stated in part, the Historic Districts
Commission has reviewed unauthorized alterations that deviate from the 1024 Massachusetts Avenue
plan set formally approved at the March 2, 2017 meeting date. The Commission has determined that the
property owner, Robert Cataldo, will receive a violation fine in the amount of$500.00. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Lee Noel Chase. The Commission voted unanimously to issue this fine.
Updates: Chair Eccles welcomed new Associate Commissioners Susan Bennett and Mark Connors
