72 <br />No 49 ) An order to the following persons who were <br />chosen a Committee by the town of Lexington to let out <br />and superintend the making the swamp Road so called Viz <br />To Thirty Dolls Messrs Isaac Hastings Nine Dollars <br />Tonas Bridge Five Dollars 50/100 <br />Tohn P'aker Five Dollars 50/100 <br />Nathan Chandler Seven Dollars <br />Abram Smith Three Dollars <br />9 00 <br />5 50 <br />5- 50 <br />7 00 <br />3 00 <br />30 00 <br />No 50) An order to pay Mr Reuben Reed Eight Dollars <br />56/100 Viz For working out Nonresidents Highway taxes in <br />the Capacity of surveyor of Highways for 1819. <br />00 <br />Grant of 200 Dollars to defray the damage and <br />Eapence of a Road which leads from the Middlesex <br />Turnpike to Woburn line by the House of William Munroe Tun <br />To be paid in the following manner as was awarded to <br />the following persons by the Selectmen <br />Viz To Mr Moses Harrington 150 00 <br />To the Heirs of Daniel Harrington & Wm: Tidd 40 00 <br />To Er Asa Munroe 10 00 <br />No 1 ) An order to pay Mr Mosses Harrington Fifty Dollars ) 200 00 <br />it being the remainder of the 150 Dollars for damage as ) 50 00 <br />above stated Ballance 150 00 <br />Er Harrington Receivd an Order on the Town Treasurer <br />the llth of Tanuary last for 100 Dollars <br />The Heirs of Dani Harrington and William-Tidd receivd one <br />of the amount of 40 Dollars for their damage on the 1st day <br />of March last Mr Asa Munroe receivd one on the 20th of Sept <br />last of 10 Dollars which orders drew the money from the last <br />years tax and leaves a Ballance of 150 Dolls on the present <br />Grant which will be unappropriated for the sd damgge but will <br />be appropriated to Contingencies. October 18th 1819. <br />73 <br />At a meeting March 2nd 1818 The town then voted that <br />Western School District should have the privilege of expending <br />the 100 Dollars (which was not expended the year before) in a <br />free town school to be kept in their school -house as they <br />might think proper. By the preceeding Records it appears that <br />all the sd money hAs been appropriated bii 34 Dolls and 11/100 <br />which sum is now due to the sd District <br />October 18th 1819 Charles :Reed Town Olk <br />
