Mr Saniuell Lock and mr: John: mason, and to be Committee to state or Lay out a Conversant Town way from .Thomas: Kendels Fara into the Town way that Leads to the meeting hous At a meeting of ye selectmen & Constables of Lex- ington ye: 30: of April: 1716: mr John: Munroe was Choosen seallor of waits and measseurs for the insuing year as the Law directs At a meeting of the Inhabitants of Lexington order- ly Convened for the Chois of a Representative the: 14 of may: 1716; Capt wm: Reed was Chosen to Represente said Town in the Create and generall Coarte the insuing ear. At a meeting of the Inhabitant of Lexington order- ly Convened to acte in town affairs the= 19: of may: 1716 Mr Francis Bowman Being Chosen modderator for said meeting 1 voted that a Rate of fifteen pounds Be made and paid into the Town Treasury By the taste day of December next for the supporte of the school in said Town this present year (} 2 voted that all scoliers that Cum to school to pal two pens per week for (Reeding, and :3: pens per week for righting arra siphering and wit that amounts to at the years End: so much of the fifteen pounds to be deducted and stopt in the Town Treasury whilst the nexte year 3 voted that: mr John Larrans mr Joseph Brown and mr Daniel: Hoar Be a Committee to provid a school master for the Town as ye Law directs 4 voted that a Rate of thirty six pounds should be made and paid Into the Town Treasury By the Laste day of December next Ensuing for the defraying the Towns Charges this year 5 voted that when the uper most gallereys in the new meeting hous shall Be finished the Town will pay to Joseph: Miriam or his heirs s fifty four pounds twelve shillings At a meeting of ye select men cr Lexington ye: 28: of m : 1716 Resolved that ten shillings Be alloued and paid out of the Town Treasury to Thomas: meads Const. for gathering his proportion of the meeting hous Rate
