Minutes ofAugust 15,2018 <br /> The minutes from the August 15' meeting were reviewed and accepted unanimously. <br /> 2. Citize ns and Othe r B oards <br /> Debra Hankins and Mehr Khurana were in attendance representing the Lexington Youth <br /> Commission. Debra and Mehr explained that the commission was created in 1977 and has <br /> been going strong ever sense. There are 6 adult advisors that manage the 38 high school <br /> students that range in grades from 9-12. Every month they do a service project. Some of the <br /> service projects include serving a Valentine's lunch to the Seniors in town, taking part in fall <br /> clean up, delivering fresh turkey dinners to people in need around Thanksgiving, raising <br /> money in December for social services,and many more projects that benefit the community <br /> in a positive way. <br /> www.lexinRtonma.gov/recreation <br /> recdeRt@ I exi nEto-nm a.2ov <br /> 39 MARRETT ROAD, LEXINGTON, MA 02421 <br />
