CPAC Meeting <br /> August 28, 2018 <br /> Called to order at 7:18 <br /> Attendees: <br /> CPAC Members: Also Present: <br /> Deepak Amenani Richard Canale <br /> Stacey Beuttell Bob Creech <br /> Hema Bhatt Jeff Dietrich <br /> Matt Daggett David Field <br /> Sarah Felton Ginna Johnson <br /> Marilyn Fenolossa (by phone) Carol Kowalski <br /> Carol Sue Hai Joe Pato <br /> Leonard Morse-Fortier Bob Pressman <br /> Staff Reports&Updates: <br /> 1) Stakeholder Outreach <br /> a) Interviews to gather input into the process <br /> I) The consultant,with the Planning Department has finalized a list of all committees (inside <br /> and outside of town government)who will be engaged by the consultant in interviews <br /> regarding the Comprehensive Plan <br /> ii) Interviews will be set up on a rolling basis as stakeholders are available <br /> iii) The consultant will conduct the interviews; CPAC members could be invited, but this <br /> decision requires a vote (no vote taken) <br /> iv) Carol Kowalski noted that participating in these interviews is a good way to develop a <br /> deeper understanding of what the public expects and will contribute to the Comprehensive <br /> Plan as well as providing experience with engaging the public with regard to general <br /> outreach points. <br /> v) ACTION -The list will be shared with the CPAC Committee to get input on whether or not <br /> we've overlooked anyone <br /> b) Meetings to build awareness of the process <br /> I) David Kucharski will be interacting with programmatic organizations such as: elk lodges, <br /> mosques,temples, etc. to provide information about process and to request that they build <br /> awareness of the Comprehensive Plan within their communities. <br /> 2) Survey <br /> a) A survey is ready to go live that asks general demographic questions. <br /> b) This is the first of multiple outreach surveys <br /> c) Advertising for the survey will be through the Stakeholder Outreach; a link will be available on <br /> the website <br /> d) Decouple demographic survey from invitations to the "World Cafe's". <br />
