Taylor. Mr. Taylor was very active in town politics and for many <br /> years was the town's Fire Engineer (equivalent to Chief) -- as was his son, <br /> Edward W. Taylor. He was in the insurance business. <br /> In the 1920s and 1930s (and perhaps earlier) this was the home of Harry <br /> W. Litchfield, whose avocation was the ownership and training of racing <br /> thoroughbreds. <br /> S.
