John Munroe kept a malt house, <br /> in old house behind Belfry Hill (B-20) before building house at (now) 1906 Mass. Ave. <br /> (Munroe family first appears in Lex. before 1684) <br /> Brown's restoration undoubtedly involved alterations as well.
