Minutes of the Lincoln Park Committee
April 25,2018
Present: David Williams,Chair,Joanne Shorten, Brian Kelley,Wesley Wirth, Miles Connors, Robert
Pressman, Cindy Kuechle
- Wesley reported that a Boy Scout has chosen Lincoln Park for his Eagle Scout project. He will fix
the place in the path below the place where the Granite Forest will be built.
- The committee renewed the bids for the construction of the Granite Forest.
Parterre $140,000
Belco $1611000
Phelan $194,000
Since these are higher than we expected (due to impact of the Prevailing Wage Law)we decided
to wait and decide later as to how we might mitigate the impact of the Prevailing Wages Law,
and possibly make changes to the design.
- To date we have about$58,000 from the following:
$30,000—from CPA
$29,000—from unsolicited gifts
