Add new definitions to § 19-2 as follows: <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION DISTRICTS <br /> Neighborhood Conservation Districts as defined in Chapter 78 of the Code of Lexington. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION DISTRICT COMMISSION <br /> Each Neighborhood Conservation Districts Commission established pursuant to Chapter 78 of the <br /> Lexington Code, as amended. <br /> c. Amend the first sentence of the definition of Significant Building in § 19-2 by deleting the words <br /> "historic district" and substituting the words "Historic District or Neighborhood Conservation <br /> District". <br /> d. Amend § 19-313 by deleting the word "Lexington". <br /> e. Amend § 19-4 A. and B. by deleting both sections in their entirety and substituting the following: <br /> A. <br /> The term "Commission" as used in this § 19-4 shall mean the Lexington Historical Commission <br /> or, with respect to buildings within its jurisdiction, the Historic Districts Commission. <br /> B. <br /> The term "significant building" as used in this § 19-4 and in § 19-5 shall also include buildings <br /> subject to the jurisdiction of the Historic Districts Commission. <br /> 9:44 p.m. Ms. Fenollosa reported the unanimous support of the Historical Commission and <br /> described the history and terms of the Demolition Delay Bylaw. She explained that the amendments <br /> under Article 44 would align the Demolition Delay Bylaw with the Neighborhood Conservation <br /> District Bylaw and clarify issues of jurisdiction. <br /> 9:49 p.m. Doug Lucente, member, Board of Selectmen, made brief comments and reported <br /> unanimous support of the Board, (5-0). <br /> 9:51 p.m. Richard Canale, Chair, Planning Board reported unanimous support of the Planning <br /> Board and made brief comments. <br /> 9:51 p.m. With no questions on the Article, the Moderator called the question. <br /> 9:52 p.m. Following electronic vote tallying, the Moderator declared Article 44 Adopted on a <br /> vote o£ <br /> Yes No Abstain Approved by Attorney General <br /> 145 0 2 Maura Healey August 7,2018; <br /> Posted August 14,2018. <br /> 9:54 p.m. Suzanne Barry, Chair, Board of Selectmen, moved adjournment to Monday, <br /> April 2, 2018, 7:15 p.m., at the Margery Milne Battin Hall in the Cary Memorial Building, 1605 <br /> Massachusetts Avenue. Rice <br /> April 2, 2018 Adjourned Session of 2018 Annual Town Meeting <br /> Moderator Deborah Brown called the third session of 2018 Annual Town Meeting to order at <br /> 7:15 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, at the Margery Milne Battin Hall in the Cary Memorial Building, <br /> 1605 Massachusetts Avenue, a quorum in excess of 100 members was present. <br /> 7:15 p.m. The Moderator declared the Meeting in recess and recognized State Representative Jay <br /> Kaufman who presided over an Awards Ceremony to recognize students from Lexington High School <br /> (LHS) and Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School(MMRHS). Principal Andrew <br /> Stephens (of LHS) and Principal Dr. Edward Bouquillon (of MMRHS) highlighted the <br /> accomplishments of their students; Representative Kaufman presented certificates. <br /> 7:44 p.m. The Moderator declared the meeting back in order. She made announcements, <br /> welcomed visitors and conducted testing of the electronic voting devices. <br />
