HISTORIC DISTRICTS COMMISSION
A meeting of the Historic Districts Comisission was held at 800 P.M.
on Wednesday, August 20, 2980; in the Selectmen`s Meeting Room, Town Office
Building, Lexington. Present were Commissioners Bohn R. Packard, Chairman;
John L. Davies; S. Lawrence Whipple; and Associate Commissioners Linda J.
McAuley and Howard C. Mason.
At 8x10 P.M. The Woolwcorks, Inc., represented by Norma Currie the
owner and Brad Binghaan, presented scale drawings for the sign already
erected and for awnings for the store front. The sign was approved as
presented and already erected. The awnings were approved with modifications
to be incorporated in the certificate and approval of both was VOTED.
At 8s50 P.M. Max~orie Perlman d/b/a Fancy Flea Antiques-; and Chipman
Ela d/b/a Clocks made a request for signs on the Giroux Building at 1842
Massachusetts Avenue. These signs were like all others on the Giroux
Building, and after a brief discussion it was VOTED to approve the same.
There being no further business, th~e,.@m_eeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
