i August 1a., 19b5 The Historic Districts Commission met at the time and place specified in the public notice of the hearing on the application of Lexington Trust Company for a certificate of appropriateness to remove a portion of an existing building at 7 I~Auzzey Street and for a Certificate of A,~propri_ateness as to the exterior architectural features of the rerea.iniag portion of such building at 4 i$~,1?zey Street, which is within. the Rattle Green District. Present were Donald R. Urant, Chairman, r'hilip B.'~ sons, Secretary, Ruth Bevar_, b"ilbur :f. Jaquith and Associate Coms~issioner b~ax H. Straw. The chairman read the letter oP a~nlication and the notice of hearing. &2r. Raymond Scheublin' President, Lexington Trust Company, was present in behalf of the application and Mr, Pail was present in behalf of Thomas James Company, Architects. Hearing was held on the application of Theatre Phamma.cy Inc., for a Certificate of Apiropriateness with respect to proposed changes is the exterior architectural features of and with respect to new signs to be displayed on the premises at 1810 B,3assachusetts Avenues which is within the Battle Green District. Tre chairman read the letter of application. Mr. C. Harry Erickson, Architect, appeared is~ behalf of t-e applicant and presented the coffimissio^ with a perspective and two photographs of the front of the building at 1~31~~ and 1406 Massachusetts Avenue and stated that the fa©nt o£ the building would be changed and that new signs would be erected at each store. After much discussion it was agreed to continue the hearing until September 9, 1955, in order that a hearing would be properly advertised, and at the same time Mr. Erickson would have available scale drawings of the proposed signs. Cdr. Jaquith s..ated that he had been unable to contact Robert Cataldo regarding the application of Cary Library, However, he has a signed extension of time in which the crnrrnission may act oxi the applications and it is intended that the Library meet with the commission on September 9, 1965.
