1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />November 15, 1976 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />by Vice-chairman Zabin with members Friedman, Brown, planning director <br />Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendnance was John Crowe, <br />D.A.C. <br />Minutes of Planning Board meeting of October 18, 1976, were approved as MINUTES 11/15 <br />corrected. <br />At 7:30 p.m., George Prior, Boston Edison Co., met with the Board to dis-HANCOCK ST. <br />cuss financial aspects and impact on residents of changover to under- BOSTON EDISON <br />ground installation of utility wiring on Hancock St. Mr. Prior was UNDERGR.WIRING <br />unwilling/unable to give a definitive rate per foot for such installation. <br />In the near future, he and Edison engineers will visit Lexington during <br />the daytime, and attempt to arrive at a cost estimate for such a project. <br />Request by Everett J. Tingley for extension of time on Blossom Hill Est. <br />subdivision was considered. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was <br />VOTED: BLOSSOM HILL <br />EST. SUBDV. <br />To extend to February 28, 1977, the time on or before which the EXTENSION <br />Lexington Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan <br />entitled "Blossom Hill Estates", dated October 20, 1975, revised <br />May, 1976, by Northeastern Eng'g Assoc., as requested by Ernest J. <br />Tingley, applicant. <br />Request by Wayne R. DiCarlo, Esq., for release of surety on Adams Est. ADAMS EST. 4 <br />Section 4 subdivision, and Engineering Dept. memo recommending same were BOND RELEASE <br />noted. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />That the performance bond secured by bank passbook No. 047-0709-6 <br />in the amount of $4,382.98 on deposit in Newton Waltham Savings <br />Bank, and bank passbook No. 047-0974-9 in the amount of $5,069.11 <br />on deposit in Newton Waltham Savings Bank, be released as recommended <br />by William J. Martin, Assistant Town Engineer. <br />In response to a memo dated October 29, 1976, from William J. Martin, STREET ACCEPT. <br />Asst. Town Engineer, requesting submission by the Planning Board of the RECOMMENDATION: <br />names of subdivision streets to be proposed for acceptance at the 1977 <br />A.T.M., upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />To recommend acceptance of the layout of the following streets: <br />Brent Rd., from Hathaway Rd. to Emerson; Emerson Rd., from a point <br />easterly 310'+ from the end of Suzanne Rd., and westerly to the <br />end of that section of Emerson Rd.; Suzanne Rd., from Emerson Rd. to <br />Mill Brook Rd,; Lois La., from Bedford St. to end. <br />At 8:05 p.m., Mark Moore, Jr. and Engineer Jack Keating of Miller & POWERS VILLAGE <br />Nylander, submitted a preliminary lotting plan for 5 lots off Paul SUBDV. PLAN <br />Revere Rd. Topographic features, sewer, water, drainage systems were <br />explained by Mr. Keating. Size and location of a detention pond(on the <br />basis of a 50 -year storm) were discussed. <br />
