PLANNING BOARD MEETING
<br />August 9, 1976
<br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at
<br />5:30 p.m. by the chairman Mr. MacKenzie with members Clarke and Friedman,
<br />planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. The Town Clerk
<br />had been duly nofified of the change in meeting time due to the threat of
<br />hurricarP-Belle. Also in attendance was Joe Gavaghan, Lexington Minute Man.
<br />Plan showing land at Wellington La. Ave, and Hanson Ave., submitted with
<br />Application Form A76-20 was reviewed and Mr. Briggs explained the combi-
<br />nations of lots as shown. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was
<br />VOTED:
<br />The plan entitled "Land on Wellington Lane Ave. & Hanson Ave.", dated FORM A76-20
<br />7/21, 1976, by Miller and Nylander, submitted on July 26, 1976, by HANSON/WELL-
<br />John Tuttle, with Application Form A76-20, showing Lots 198, 200, 201, INGTON LA.AVE
<br />Pt. 202, Pt. 203, Pt. 204, 205, 206, 207, 221 thr. 224, at Hanson Ave. TUTTLE
<br />and Wellington Lane Ave. requires no approval under the Subdivision
<br />Control Law.
<br />It was also voted to authorize Mr. Briggs to sign the plan on behalf of
<br />the Board.
<br />Plan showing land of Mildred E. Whitney at 1415 Massachusetts Ave., was FORM A76-21
<br />reviewed, and Mr. Briggs explained the purpose of the submission: purchaseWHITNEY
<br />of Lot B by abuttor David S. Williams. Upon a motion duly made and MASS. AVE.
<br />' seconded, it was VOTED:
<br />The plan entitled "A Compiled Plan of Land in Lexington, MA", dated
<br />August 4, 1976, by Miller & Nylander, showing Lots A and B at Massa-
<br />chusetts Aven., submitted on August 9, 1976, with Application Form A76-
<br />21 by Mildred E. Whitney, requires no approval under the Subdivision
<br />Control Law.
<br />It was also voted to authorize Mr. Briggs to sign the plan on behalf of
<br />the Planning Board.
<br />Request from Ernest J. Tingley, developer, for extension of time on BLOSSOM HILL
<br />Blossom Hill Estates was noted. It is expected that the pending Court ESTATES
<br />action involving the subdivision will be settled by mid September. Upon EXTENSION
<br />a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED:
<br />To extend to September 15, 1976, the time on or before which the
<br />Lexington Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan
<br />entitled "Blossom Hill Estates", dated October 20, 1975, revised May,
<br />1976, by Northeastern Eng'g Assoc., as requested by Ernest J. Tingley,
<br />applicant.
<br />The meeting adjourned at 5:56 p.m.
