PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />May 17, 1976 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />by vice chiarman MacKenzie with members Friedman, Zabin, Brown, planning <br />director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Also in attendance was <br />John Frey, D.A.C. <br />Request from Theodore L. Freeman for extension of 30 days on Minute Man MINUTE MAN <br />Ridge II subdivision was noted. Mr. Briggs reported that extra time RIDGE II <br />was needed for the developer to supply information and revise plans to EXTENSION <br />comply with Engineering Dept. requirements. Upon a motion duly made and <br />seconded, it was VOTED: <br />To extend to June 22, 1976, inclusive, the time within which the <br />Lexington Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan <br />entitled "Minute Man Ridge II", dated November 28, 1975, Theodore L. <br />Freeman, applicant. <br />Summer schedule of Planning Board meetings was considered. It was SUMMER MEETING <br />agreed that meetings will be held each Monday in June, and, unless work SCHEDULE <br />load prohibits, to meet only once in July (July 12), and once in August, <br />(August 9). <br />Fleming petition to the B/A (hearing 5/20/76) was reviewed. Mr. Briggs FLEMING B/A <br />explained the proposal to construct a dwelling on a combination of <br />several undersized lots on a portion on Earl St. which has inadequate <br />grade and construction. It was voted that the planning director will <br />draft a letter in opposition to the granting of the variance, for review <br />and signature of the vice chairman. <br />Letter from the Bd. of Selectmen to L.H.A., dated 5/12/76, was noted, <br />announcing extension to May, 1977, of the moratorium on sale of tax <br />title lots listed as possible sites for low income housing. <br />Resubmission of preliminary plan for Kendall Gardens subdivision, pre- <br />viously disapproved, with road redesign as required by the Planning <br />Board was noted. Question arose as to adequacy of Kendall Rd., which <br />would be access to the proposed subdivision road. Mr. Briggs is to <br />request a written report from the Town Engineer as to the condition of <br />Kendall Rd. between Sherburn Rd. and Grapevine Ave. <br />TAX TITLE LOT <br />SALE MORATORIUM <br />KENDALL GARDENS <br />Letter from Town Counsel, repsonding to legal brief submitted by INGLESIDE POND <br />Donald Sleeper, Esq., for Emilio Spagnuola, regarding drainage rights <br />to Ingleside Pond, was reviewed. Sec. 81-W, Chap. 41, G.L., which is <br />concerned with Planning Board power of modification of approved subdivision <br />plans, was referred to. It was suggested that Green & White, owners of <br />abutting tract, be asked their view on allowing Mr. Spagnuola drainage <br />rights. <br />The meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m. <br />A aP 4ae6000 <br />Manfred P.
