PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />December 23, 1974 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was called to order at 7:42 p.m. <br />by the chairman, Dr. Clarke, with members MacKenzie, L. Brown, Planning <br />Director Briggs, and secretary Mrs. Snow present. Mr. Brown joined the <br />meeting at 8:50 p.m. Also in attendance were David Williams, Conservation <br />Commission, Frank Sandy, CLC, and Rosemary O'Leary, Lexington Minute -Man. <br />The minutes of Planning Board meeting of December 2, 1974, were approved <br />as corrected. <br />Letter from Stephen B. Jones, dated December 6, 1974, regarding inappro- WILLARD WOODS <br />priate use of Town -owned Willards Woods, and giving suggestions for its S. JONES <br />utilization for recreation, was reviewed. The letter will be trans- <br />mitted to the Bd. of Selectmen, and Mr. Jones will be advised of its <br />disposition. <br />A plan submitted by Dennis R. Lowe, Esq., for 115 Kendall Corp., with <br />FORM A74-38 <br />Application Form A74-38, showing Lots 2 and 3 at Bedford St. and Hartwell <br />BEDFORD ST. <br />Ave. was reviewed by the Board. Mr. Briggs explained that the purpose of <br />HARTWELL AVE. <br />the plan was for recording the lots in one ownership. Upon a motion <br />115 KENDALL <br />duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />CORP. <br />The plan entitled "A Subdivision of Land Court Case No. 38296 in <br />Lexington, Mass.", dated December 16, 1974, by Miller & Nylander, <br />showing Lots 2 and 3 at Bedford St. and Hartwell Ave. requires no <br />approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />Mr. Briggs' draft Certificate of Action on the definitive plan for <br />BICENTENNIAL <br />Bicentennial Farms subdivision was reviewed and amended. Mr. Briggs <br />FARMS SUBDV. <br />will revise the draft to reflect the suggested changes. <br />Plan to revise the drainage system in Lowell Estates II Subdivision was <br />LOWELL EST.II <br />explained by Louis Stoico, developer, and Wilbur Nylander, C.E. Follow- <br />SUBDV. <br />ing receipt of comments on the new drainage plan by the Engr. Dept., the <br />Maple St. abuttors, who had seen the original drainage plans at the pub- <br />lic hearing on November 4, 1974, will be invited by letter from Mr. Briggs <br />to participate in review and discussion of the plan at the January 6 meet- <br />ing of the Planning Board. <br />Mr. Stoico's request for extension on the subdivision to allow time for <br />preparation of the drainage plan in final form, was reviewed. Upon a <br />motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />To extend to January 13, 1975, inclusive, the time within which the <br />Planning Board must act on the definitive subdivision plan entitled <br />"Lowell Estates Section 2 in Lexington, Mass.", dated June 27, 1974, <br />as requested by Louis Stoico, applicant. <br />It was generally agreed, in the case of Lowell Estates II, that compensa- <br />tory water storage area, if'needed, could be located on land allocated <br />for Town -owned open space in the P.U.D. <br />Letter from Stephen B.
