Page 2 <br />9.9.74 <br />Preliminary plan for Centre Estates II was reviewed and Engr. Dept. CENTRE ESTATES <br />letter of recommendations, dated Aug. 29, 1974, was read in part. DieSUBDIVISION <br />cussion followed as to length of the proposed cul-de-sac, and it was <br />agreed by the members not to recommend connection to Carol Lane, Centre <br />Estates I. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />To approve the preliminary plan entitled "Centre Estates Section II <br />in Lexington, Mass.", dated August 22, 1974, by Miller & Nylander, <br />submitted on August 26, 1974, by Mark Moore, Jr., President, Moore <br />Homes Inc., applicant. <br />The developer will be informed of the approval and will be sent a copy <br />of the Engr. Dept. letter. Dr. Clarke will confer with him dm the <br />possibility of donating the portion of the parcel on the east side of <br />the railroad tracks to the Town for open space. <br />Lowell Estates preliminary plan, and letters regarding the plan from <br />Health and Engr. Departments, were reviewed. Copies of these letters <br />and a list of requirements for submission of definitive subdivision <br />plans will be sent to Mr. Stoico, developer. Mr. Briggs will also <br />inform him of Planning Board requirement for existing and proposed <br />contour figures. It was noted that this was a re -submission of pre- <br />liminary plan for Lowell Estates II, previously approved by the <br />Planning Board on May 6, 1974. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, <br />it was VOTED: <br />To approve the preliminary plan entitled "Lowell Estates Section <br />2 in Lexington, Mass.", dated June 27, 1974, by Miller & Nylander <br />submitted on July 30, 1974, by Louis Stoico, President, Village <br />Development Corp. <br />LOWELL ESTATES <br />SECTION 2 <br />SUBDIVISION <br />Petition signed by residents of Bushnell Drive requesting that the BUSHNELL DRIVE <br />street by accepted as a town way, and recommendation from James E. ACCEPTANCE <br />Chase, Town Engr. that the Planning Board sponsor an Article for its <br />acceptance were noted. It was voted to inform the Bd.. of Selectmen <br />of Planning Board intention to initiate such an Article in 1975. <br />Copy of W. R. Grace Co. letter to the Board of Appeals regarding the E.G.&G. F & D <br />E. G. & G. petition (hearing Sept. 10), expressing approval of the HEARING <br />proposal, was read. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m. <br />Paul J.
