1 <br />1 <br />At 9:30 p.m., Van Boughton, W. R. Grace Co., Herman Beckstauffer, archi- <br />tect, and Daniel Corbett, Whitman & Howard, met with the Board to pre- <br />sent plans which have been submitted to the Board of Appeals for finding <br />and determination (hearing July 2). A model of the Hayden Avenue.site, <br />showing proposed ultimate development of the W. R. Grace facility was <br />displayed. Grading, drainage and future construction plans were ex- <br />plained, and utility, sewer connection, underground wiring, and land- <br />scaping plans noted. Parking space ratio and access roads necessary for <br />expanded development were discussed, and Mr. Corbett gave hydrological <br />data and explained drainage plans. <br />Page 2 <br />6.10.74 <br />W. R. GRACE <br />B/A PETITION <br />F & D <br />Charles Downe, Consultant, met with the Baord for discussion of studies MASTER PLAN <br />on long range Town goals and recreation. Methods for procuring infor- RECREATION <br />mation on Town -wide needs were described by Mr. Downe, and procedures STUDIES <br />used in Concord noted. Discussion continued as to citizen response to a <br />questionnaire distributed in Concord and possible use of newspaper publi- <br />cation of a questionnaire. Following consideration of procedures for <br />implementation of preparation of the questionnaire, Mr. Briggs reported <br />on his contact with four other consultants who will also submit proposals. <br />It was estimated that selection of a consultant will be made within two <br />weeks. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />Paul J.
