Herman and Bruce Erikson, and Tony DeFrancisco, architect, PIPER RIDGE <br />met with the Board at 8:50 p.m. to explain their development plans RM ARTICLE <br />(subject of citizens' RM rezoning Article) for land at Piper Rd. and <br />Waltham St. Floor plan showing 24 apartment units on the 4 acre parcel, <br />with access at Piper Rd., room layout for the 2 -bedroom units, and <br />percentage of open space, was displayed. Mr. Erikson summarized the <br />results of a neighborhood poll and photogrammetric maps 115, 6, 10, 11, <br />and 14 of the area were reviewed. Plans for sewer and other utilities <br />were discussed. The public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for <br />Feb. 14, 1974. <br />Schedule for public hearing (Feb. 7, 1974) on the Drummer Boy RD & RM DRUMMER BOY <br />rezoning Articles was noted. Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it RD & RM ART. <br />was voted that the Planning Board will hold this public hearing on its <br />own initiative as allowed under Section 14.1 of the Zoning By-law. This <br />decision does not indicate Planning Board support of either of the pro- <br />posed Articles. <br />Dr. Clarke reported on Wood St. Neighborhood Assoc. meeting at Maria FLINTLOCK <br />Hastings School re the proposed Flintlock development, and discussion WOOD ST. ASSOC. <br />of already heavy traffic on Wood St. as the chief cause of neighborhood <br />opposition. A letter from Mr. Wayne Barber, developer, dated Jan. 10, <br />1974, to Robert Rader, M.I.T. Lincoln Lab, suggesting a meeting to explore <br />possible solutions to the traffic problem, was noted. <br />The Board reviewed revision to wording of the Zoning By -Law revision <br />articles (Z-1 to Z-8) and other recommendations as suggested by Town <br />Counsel. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11 p.m. <br />Paul J.
