Page 2 1.2.74 <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted that the Planning Bd.FLINTLOCK HEAR - <br />will hold this public hearing on its own initiative as allowed under ING PETITION <br />Section 14.1 of the Zoning By -Law. This decision does not indicate <br />' Planning Board support of either of the proposed ARticles. <br />Tentative schedule for forthcoming public hearings on rezoning articles PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />was reviewed and generally approved by the members. SCHEDULE <br />The petition to the Board of Appeals of Arthur and John Douglass for DOUGLASS F & D <br />Finding and Determination and variance regarding parking requirements <br />as shown on plans for construction of an office building at #7 Militia <br />Drive, were again reviewed. Dr. Clarke referred to the Planning Board <br />vote of December 26, 1973, to recommend against approval on the basis of <br />inadequate parking provision, and reported on Mr. Briggs' research of <br />accepted parking standards and lot utilization for similar buildings, <br />indicating that the proposed number of parking spaces for the Douglass <br />building seemed adequate. It was then voted that a letter be drafted <br />recommending a favorable finding and determination and the granting of <br />the requested variance. <br />Order of Condtions issued by the Conservation Commission on the Minute- MINUTEMAN VILL. <br />man Village (Haroian) development was noted. HATCH ACT <br />B/A decisions on December 18 hearings were reviewed briefly. <br />Notices of H.D.C. hearings on Jan. 2, 1974, were noted. <br />' Dr. Clarke read a memo from the Selectmen, dated Dec. 27, 1973, request-MUZZEY CORP. <br />ing a Planning Board parking study of the Muzzey St. area to ascertain PARKING LOT <br />need of Town acquisition of Muzzey Corporation land for extension of EXTENSION <br />the existing Town parking lot. The Planning staff will prepare a report <br />and site development plan and attempt to gain assistance from the League <br />of Women Voters in conducting a parking turnover study. <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />Paul J.
