1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Page 2 <br />8.27.73 <br />The Board reviewed a release from Covenant prepared by the Town COLUMBUS ST. <br />Counsel to allow sale of lots at the Columbus St, subdivision. SUBD. RELEASE <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to endorse the FR. COVENANT <br />instrument. <br />A plan submitted by the Director of Public Works and Engr. with FORM A73-21 <br />Application Form A73-21, showing land at Concord Ave. to be deeded CONCORD AVE. <br />to the Town by the Comm. of Mass. for conservation, was reviewed. CONSERVATION <br />UPon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: LAND <br />The plan submitted on August 23, 1973, by John J. McSweeney, <br />for the Town of Lexington, entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, <br />Mass.", dated March 12,1973, by Miller & Nylander, showing <br />land at Concord Avenue, requires no approval under=the Sub- <br />division Control Law. <br />The plan was so endorsed by members of the Board. <br />It was agreed that the Planning Board meeting in the first week of PL. BD. MTG. <br />September will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 4, because of the Labor SCHEDULE,SEPT. <br />Day celebration, and on each succeeding Monday for the remainder <br />of the month. The meeting schedule will be transmitted to the <br />Town Clerk. <br />Mr. Briggs reported on the progress of Jerry Martin with appli PHOTOGR. MAPS <br />cation of lot lines on the photogrammetric maps of the Town. The LOT LINES <br />Planning Board agreed to allow Mr. Martin to omit lot numbers on <br />the maps, if necessary, to meet the agreed upon completion date. <br />Mrs. Brown reported that the Burlington B/A hearing re land at BURLINGTON <br />the Lexington/Burlington line, originally scheduled for Aug. 16 ARCADE B/A <br />has been postponed until Sept. 6 because of a legality with respect HEARING <br />to its advertising. The Planning Board position (to ask denial of <br />the petition) will be stated by Mrs. Brown and Dr. Clarke, who <br />plan to attend. <br />The Board noted a letter dated August 10, 1973, from Michael Wein- JOHNSON BROS. <br />mayr, 49 East St., requesting notification of time of Planning Bd. GREENHOUSE B/A <br />discussion of B/A petition for proposed greenhouse construction <br />abutting his property. <br />Notice of Board of Appeals hearing on Sept. 4 on the petition to WOBURN ST.PIZZA <br />allow a pizza house at 333 Woburn St. was reviewed. Resultant HOUSE B/A 9/4 <br />parking and traffic problems were discussed. Mrs. Brown agreed to <br />prepare a draft of a letter to the B/A, recommending approval, con - <br />ditional upon a change in the parking area location and traffic pattern. <br />Mr. Briggs explained the format of a Bicentennial Logistics Comm. <br />report which contains policy questions for consideration of the <br />Planning Board. Temporary use of Conservation land for tourist <br />facilities was discussed. A letter will be written to the Conser- <br />vation Commission, requesting that DNR be asked to give a ruling <br />on the legality of such land use. Town Counsel will be asked if <br />use of municipal land must comply with the zoning regulations of <br />BICENTENNIAL <br />LOGISTICS COMM. <br />the district in which it is located. The School Committee is to be <br />asked for its view on use of school lavatories by tourists. Dr. Clarke <br />
