PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 2, 1973 <br />The meeting of the Lexington Planning Board was celled to order at <br />7:00 p.m, by the Vice Chairman Dr. Clarke with members S. Brown, <br />Graham, Costello, planning director Briggs and secretary Mrs. Snow <br />present. Also in attendance were T. Holzbog, DAC, and C. Waixel, <br />Lexington Minute Man. <br />Mark Moore, Chas. Spaulding, Wm. Kreutzjans, of Spaulding & Slye, DRUMMER BOY <br />Dick Rogers of Sasaki, Dawson & DeMay and Chas. Clarke, Boston Survey <br />Co. presented revised plans for the Drummer Boy condominium development.REVISED PLANS <br />Mr. Spaulding gave reasons for submission of the redesign and compared <br />the original with the revised plan as to number of units & density. A <br />layout plan was displayed and land to be given for conservation was <br />pointed out by Mr. Rogers. Pipeline and sewer easements were shown and <br />topography of the site discussed. Mr. Rogers reported on conference with <br />Mr. Nummi, DPW, re a proposed redesign at the intersection of Hartwell <br />Ave. and Bedford St. and elimination of the jughandle turn, and resultant <br />traffic patterns were discussed. Mr. Spaulding introduced Mr. Clarke who <br />showed a plan with proposed drainage plan and gave runoff calculations, <br />direction of flow and water storage area location. Mr. Rogers was asked <br />about plans for road connection with Grove St., timing of phases of develop- <br />ment, and change of point of access to the development from Winter St. The <br />developers will include an agreement to limit number of units to 150 in their <br />proposal. A memo from M. Freeman, S.D. & D., with respect to intersection <br />redesign was distributed to the members. <br />' The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. <br />I <br />T � <br />r <br />Th as F.
