page 2 <br />1.15.72 <br />Dr. Clarke reported on his Jan. 14, 1973, review with Conservation <br />Comm. members, of the Wetland Protection District maps. It was <br />agreed that, following review by and receipt of comments from all <br />concerned Town Agencies, the Planning Board will hold a work <br />session at 9 a.m. on Jan. 20, 1973, to adjudicate the recosem <br />mendations of the other Boards. A newsrelease to explain the <br />philosophy of the proposed "W" zone will be submitted for <br />publication in the Lexington Minuteman on Jan. 25. A Planning <br />Board work session to formulate plans for the Feb. 1st. public <br />information meeting on the Wetland Article will be held Jan. 18 at <br />8:00 p.m. in Room G-1, Town Office Building. <br />Board of Appeals notices of hearings to be held on Jan. 30,1973, <br />were noted. The Board reviewed the petition of William E. Maloney <br />for permission to erect and operate a commercial greenhouses and to <br />operate a nursery at #661 Lowell St. History of a previous petition <br />(hearing 12/12/72) to conduct a nursery at the Lowell St. site was <br />noted and terms of both petitions were defined. A Planning Board <br />letter of recommendations, dated Dec. 11, 1972, concerning the first <br />petition was reviewed and it was agreed that Mrs. Brown and Dr. Clarke <br />will prepare a draft of a letter to the Appeals Board reflecting the <br />same general views as stated in the Dec. 11 letter. <br />WETLAND DISTR. <br />MAPS <br />CONS. COMM. <br />MALONEY <br />GREENHOUSES <br />LOWELL ST. <br />B/A <br />Dr. Clarke reported that he will represent the Conservation Commission MYSTIC RIVER <br />at a meeting of the Mystic River Watershed Assoc. on Jan. 17, 1973, at WATERSHED:. <br />' which time the northwest extension of the "Red Line" will be discussed.ASSOC./RED LIN] <br />A letter of comment regarding possible terminal locations from Herbert <br />Meyer, Chairman, Mystic River Watershed Assoc.was read. Consideration <br />of Lexington's position will be made after more information has been <br />made available. <br />Dr. Clarke reviewed the petition of the Town to construct and maintain KILN BROOK <br />a new channel in the Kiln Brook for drainage improvement and reported HATCH ACT HEAR. <br />on the Hatch Act. hearing held on Jan 3, 1973. <br />Upon a motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED: <br />To go into executive session for discussion of matters the <br />disclosure of which could adversely affect the reputation EXEC. SESSION <br />of any person or the financial interests of the Town. <br />Following discussion of Town agencies interrelationships, open meeting <br />was resumed and was adjourned at 11:00 p.m. /11 <br />Thomas F.
