1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />An Article on Planned Residential Development will be postponed pending ART. PRD <br />passage of state enabling PUD legislation. It was agreed to inform <br />Mr. Michelman of this decision. <br />The need for an Article authorizing the establishment of a Bicentennial ART./BICENT. <br />Commission and appropriating funds for its studies (possibly on a sub- COMMISSION <br />regional basis) was discussed, but it was agreed that the Selectmen <br />should be contacted regarding the initiation of this Article. <br />The proposed amendment to the Building By -Law regarding requirement of BLDG.BY-LAW <br />sill elevation figures on plot plans was discussed briefly and the AMENDMENT <br />Building Inspector's objections to this amendment referred to. Decision <br />on whether to present an Article on this matter was deferred until after <br />the Dec. 6 meeting of the Planning Board and the Board of Health. <br />After discussion of the Planning Board concept of extending the CB district WALTHAM ST. <br />on Waltham St., it was voted by the members not to present an Article for REZONING <br />rezoning this area at this time. <br />Mention was made of Mrs. Marilyn Harrison's request for a possible vari- #72 WALTHAM <br />ance by the Board of Appeals to use the building at 72 Waltham St. as a ST.HARRISON <br />fabric store. <br />Mr. Graham agreed to be the Planning Board's spokesman at the December 1, TMMA MTG. <br />1971, TMMA-sponsored meeting on recreation. RECREATION <br />A discussion of general policy of the Planning Board regarding street <br />design standards will scheduled for agenda in the near future. <br />The possibility of additional planning staff was considered and the <br />need for a planning research assistant discussed. It was decided to <br />request a planning intern for the summer months of 1972. <br />After further discussion by the Board of personnel -related matters the <br />meeting adjourned at 11:10 p.m. <br />Donald M.
