Upon, a motion duly made and seconded it was unanimously VOTED: <br />To reaffirm the original terms of approval of the Emerson Gardens <br />' subdivision on lO.2.61, requiring the construction of Emerson Rd. <br />and Bryant Rd. connection across the Munroe Brook by Emerson <br />Gardens Corporation. <br />This connection will be required at the time of release of Section III <br />of Emerson Gardens, and must be completed before any security covering <br />said Section III is released. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Mr. William E. Maloney, Emerson Gardens Corp. will be advised that <br />within the confines of the vote, the Planning Board would be willing <br />to consider modifications of design of Emerson Red. near the Bryant Rd. <br />connection. Mrs. Brown will contact Air. Maloney and Mr. Cataldo by <br />telephoneiegarding the possibility of a median strip on Emerson Rd. <br />Mr. Costello reported on the Board of Appeals hearing on the Masonic MASONIC SCOT. <br />Scottish Rite proposal. There was no opposition to the building of the RITE BLDG. <br />complex. PROPOSAL <br />The question of use of Ballou land for recreation purposes and Mr. <br />Stanley Brown's inquiry of the Planning Board and the Planning Board <br />statemetn rand su h ns were evi ed. It was voted by the members to refrain ro�i t <br />comment to the Conservation Commission regarding land use ort is <br />property. Proposals for capital expenditure which are to be sub- <br />mitted by Oct. 14 for capital expenditure which are to be submitted <br />by Oct. 14 for 5 acres in 1 or 2 unidentified sites, involving <br />$35 to $40,000 for purchase or development of recreation areas were <br />discussed. It was decided that such proposals should be initiated by <br />the Recreation Committee but the Planning Board may goon record as <br />supporting them. <br />RECREATION/CONS. <br />BALLOU LAND <br />CAP. EXP. REQUEST <br />RECREATION <br />Mr. Charles Gallagher, Chairman of the Recreation Committee, is to be <br />invited to meet with the Planning Board as soon as possible. Mr. Zaleski <br />will discuss several possibilities for recreation areas with Mr. Gallagher <br />prior to the Oct. 13 meeting of the Planning Board. <br />The Planning Board will meet on Wednesday, October 27, 1971, because of OCT. 27, 1971 <br />the celebration of Veteran's Day on Monday, October 25.
