Upon a motion duly made and seconded it was VOTED: <br />To disapprove the definitive subdivision plan entitled "Idylwilde IDYLWILDE FARMS <br />Farms", dated December 29, 1969 and May 12, 1970, by Erich W. Nitzche,DISAPPROVAL <br />Reg. P.E. and L.S. <br />The reasons for disapproval are as follows: <br />1. The drainage system shown on the plans is not satisfactory and does not <br />meet the requirements of the "Rules and Regulations Governing the Subdivi- <br />sion of hand in Lexington, Mass.", Section 3.1, 6.6 and 7.5. See also the <br />report of the Engineer to the Board of Health dated Feb. 6, 1970. <br />2. The applicant has withdrawn the plans for revision in October of 1970 <br />and has not resubmitted them. <br />3. A permit under the provisions;of G.L. Ch. 131, S.40 has been applied for <br />on October 27, 1969, but never received to our knowledge. See Section 3.3 <br />of the "Rules and Regulations" referred to above. <br />This disapproval was voted with the provision that if the request of the <br />developer for extension of time is received before August 3, 1971, the <br />vote will not be effective. <br />Mr. Costello reported on the informational meeting on environmental protec-ENVIRONMENTAL <br />tion at the DPW District 4 office which he attended on July 21. PROTECTION <br />A letter to the Board of Selectmen announcing a meeting regarding an URBAN SYSTEMS <br />"Urban Systems" highway network at the DPW district 4 office on July 28 HIGHWAY <br />was noted and Mrs. Brown and Mr. Zaleski agreed to attend. Mr. Cataldo, <br />' Mr. O'Connell and Mr. McSweeney will also be present. Mr. Graham suggested <br />that some of the work necessary for the Bicentennial year could be accom- <br />plished under this program. <br />A letter to Mrs. Frank Davidoff from the Board of Selectmen refusing per- DAVIDOFF SIGN <br />mission to maintain a sign on Mass. Ave. was noted. <br />Notices of the following Historical Districts Commission hearings were HIST. DIST. <br />read: COMM.HEARINGS <br />Minute Man Park Realty Trust re. demolition of buildings at 21029 Depot Sq. <br />Harrison re. installation of blinds at 72 Waltham St. <br />Sheldon and Goldberg re. maintenance of transformer and air conditioning <br />equipment behind the building.at 19 Muzzey St. and erection of a stockade <br />fence at Raymond St. <br />Hutchison re, erection of a fence at 1 Hunt Rd. <br />A letter from Mr. Frank Sandy to the Conservation Committee re. the proposed <br />Mobil Oil service station on Bedford St. questioning several aspects of the MOBIL OIL <br />proposal was read. SERVICE STA. <br />A letter from the Selectmen approving reimbursement to Partridge Assoc. <br />for extra work done in the Min. Man Hlds. Sec IV subdivision was noted. <br />' It was agreed to invite Mr. Legro by telephone to attend the August 4th <br />meeting of the Planning Board with the hopes of hearing his comments on <br />Mr. Zaleski's "paper" streets memorandum.
