1 <br />1 <br />MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING, May 6, 1971 <br />The advertised public hearing on the proposed zoning amendment relative VINE BROOK <br />to access to the Vine Brook RM district was called to order by Mrs. Brown, RM DISTRICT <br />Chairman of the Lexington Planning Board, at 8:00 p.m. on May 6, 1971, in <br />the Bird Room, Cary Building, Lexington, Massachusetts. Planning Board <br />members Clarke, Lund, Graham, planning director Zaleski, executive director <br />of the Lexington Housing Authority, E. V. Maloney and 8 citizens were <br />present at the hearing. <br />The chairman read the notice of public hearing as published in the <br />Lexington Minute -Man on April 22 and 29, 1971, and described the history REZONING <br />of rezoning under Art. 91 of 1970 which created the RM district, the reason <br />for changing the access and the need for future rezoning of surplus RM <br />land not needed for housing when exact boundaries of the housing site are <br />determined. <br />Mr. Maloney explained in response to questions that 48 units for elderly HASTINGS LOT <br />will be located on the site by the Housing Authority. He stated that <br />agreement has been reached for the acquisition of the Hastings lot and <br />that this will be the only exit from the development. <br />There being no other questions, the hearing was declared adjourned at <br />8:20 p.m. <br />Ppo-kJ <br />♦� <br />Donald M.
