PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />April 5, 1971 <br />Chairman Lund called the meeting <br />Clarke, Graham, Costello and Mrs. <br />and secretary Mrs. Cole present. <br />representing the Design Advisory <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. with members <br />Brown, planning director Zaleski <br />Also present was Thomas Holzbog, <br />Committee. <br />The Board approved the letter to the Selectmen drafted by Mrs. Brown <br />in response to their request for a recommendation regarding the legis- <br />lation proposed in H.3344, which would authorize the State DPW to <br />provide access to land in Burlington by constructing a bridge or tun- <br />nel across Rte. 3; and what action should be taken to protect the <br />land in Lexington which abuts the proposed development involving some <br />250 acres of land in Burlington between Rte. 3 and the Lexington town <br />line. Copies will be sent to the Town Manager and Rep. Lincoln P. <br />Cole, Jr. <br />Also signed by the Board was the letter to the Burlington Planning <br />Board requesting an invitation to attend any discussions on these <br />proposals and expressing, as a matter of inter -town cooperation, the <br />hope of following a policy of informing each other of any future pro- <br />posed zoning or land use changes or major developments occurring along <br />the town boundary. <br />The Board approved the letter to Town Counsel requesting Mr. Legro to <br />prepare the grants of utilities in the following streets in the Ingle- <br />side Subdivision: <br />Ingleside Rd., Maple St. to Sta. 22 + 50 (past Clyde P1.) <br />Abernathy Rd., entire length <br />Clyde P1., entire length. <br />It is the intention of the Board to have an Article inserted in the <br />Warrant for the next special. Town Meeting for the acceptance of these <br />streets. <br />TURNING MILL ROAD - <br />BURLINGTON LINE <br />ACCESS <br />INGLESIDE <br />SUBDIVISION <br />The letter to the Board of Selectmen, re. Lot 26 (44) Valleyfield St., LOT 26 (44) <br />dated April 6, was discussed by the Board. The Board voted to send the VALLEYFIELD <br />letter, retyped, with the first two paragraphs only, stating that it is STREET <br />still the recommendation of the Planning Board that this lot be not sold <br />because of the possibility of its use for a "scattered site" subsidized <br />house. Should the Selectmen nevertheless wish to sell either Lot 26 (44) <br />or Lot 24 (42) on the other side of Mr. Masciulli's Lot 25, either of <br />these lots could be combined with Lot 25, but should not be sold as a <br />separate building lot. <br />The Board agreed that the contents of the third paragraph, concerned <br />with discussing with the Selectmen the selling of single tax title lots <br />for subsidized housing, may be considered separately after Town Meeting. <br />The Board reviewed the plan submitted with the application Form A71-4, FORM A71-4 <br />dated April 1, 1971 by Doris S. Stone, Agent for Eleanor L. Ross, show- PAUL REVERE ROAD <br />ing lots on Paul Revere Rd, with a Board of Appeals Variance granted <br />February 26, 1971. Upon a motion duly made and seconded the Board voted: <br />The plan entitled "Compiled Plan of Land in Lexington," dated <br />March 29, 1971, by Miller & Nylander showing lots on Paul Revere Rd., <br />requires no approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />
