PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />'March 29, 1971 <br />Chairman Lund called the meeting <br />Clarke, Graham, Costello and Mrs. <br />present. Also present was Frank <br />1 <br />1 <br />to order at 7:30 p.m. with members <br />Brown, and secretary Mrs. Cole <br />Sandy. <br />The Board reviewed the plan submitted with the application Form A71-3 FORM A71-3 <br />by Edward Mahlowitz, dated March 10, 1971, by Miller and Nylander, WALTHAM ST. <br />showing lots in a CB district requiring no minimum size. Upon a motion <br />duly made and seconded the Board VOTED: <br />The plan entitled "Plan of Land in Lexington, Mass.", dated March 10, <br />1971, showing lots 1 and 2 on the corner of Waltham St. and Mass. <br />Ave., require no approval under the Subdivision Control Law. <br />The letter to the Chairman, Committee on Commerce and Labor, State House, H.5223 <br />Boston, urging a favorable vote on H.522, which would require the Outdoor BILLBOARD <br />Advertising Board to comply with local by-laws or ordinances in granting PERMITS <br />billboard permits, was approved by the Board. Copies of the letter will <br />be sent to Sen. MacKenzie, Rep. Cole and Rep. Cusack. <br />The minutes of March 17 and March 22 were approved as submitted. <br />Noted by the Board were the Historic District notices of hearings to be <br />held Wednesday, March 31, in the Bird Room as follows: <br />Joseph A. Buss. for a sign at the Flower Shop, 14 Waltham St. <br />Philip & Julie Cadle for exterior architectural changes to the <br />dwelling at 15 Meriam St. <br />Hancock United Church of Christ for chains & supporting posts for <br />driveways at 1912 Mass. Ave. <br />The Chairman invited the Board to meet at his home on Saturday, April 3, <br />2 p.m. to discuss the proposed bridge or tunnel to be built by the Mass. <br />Dept of Public Works to provide access to certain land in the town of <br />Burlington on the easterly side of the new Route 3, which would affect <br />land adjacent to lots on Turning Mill Rd., Lexington, if Legislative Bill <br />H3344 is passed as proposed. <br />The Planning Board adjourned at 7:50 p.m, to participate in the Town <br />Meeting in Cary Hall. <br />4 -Donald M.
