Grindle, Chairman <br />November 4s 1958 <br />Re: Worthen Road <br />Reference is made to the Planning Boardts meeting with <br />you on October 20, 1958 at which time there was dis- <br />cussed the planning staffs studies for the Worthen <br />Road -Waltham Street intersection and the extension of <br />Worthen Road from Waltham Street to Marrett Road. <br />Attached herewith is a marked print of a plan entitled <br />'Proposed Re -alignment of Worthen Road AdAacent to the <br />Northwesterly Sideline of Waltham Street, said plan <br />being dated October 30, 1058 and drawn by Mr. Snow, <br />Planning Director. With reference to said plan the <br />Planning Board makes the following recommendations to <br />the Selectmen: <br />1. That the Town acquire Parcel A shown on said print <br />for the purpose of re -aligning Worthen Road, the <br />Planning Board obtaining from the owners of said <br />parcel an option to purchase the necessary land; <br />2. That the town acquire Parcel B in exchange for <br />Parcel C, the Planning Board likewise obtaining an <br />option for such an exchange. <br />VOTE: It is understood that if the Town takes favorable <br />action on the Planning Boards second recommendation <br />under Section 8 (g) 1 of the Zoning By-law the area of <br />
