Mr. Norton further stated that he would <br />STUDY <br />like to meet with the Board or some members of it, <br />to discuss briefly the kinds of reactions and re- <br />sponses which it had seen emerge as the proposal <br />progressed. It was decided not to hold a discussion <br />of this nature until after the conclusion of the <br />Annual Town Meeting. <br />Mr. Stevens came to the meeting at 8:25 p.m. <br />VETERANS <br />He discussed with the Board a certificate <br />LOT 11 <br />which he had prepared for the signature of the <br />CEDAR <br />Clerk of the Planning Board with reference to the <br />STREET <br />February 19, 1957 request of Miss Spencer of the <br />law firm of Bicknell and Smith for such a certifi- <br />cate. (See addendum.) It was noted that the <br />Selectmen had conveyed to Mr. and Mrs. Banseverino <br />a certain parcel of land situated on Cedar Street, <br />and known as Veterans Lot ll, and had imposed cer- <br />tain restrictions on the land, a certificate of the <br />Planning Board clerk being sufficient evidence of <br />compliance with one of the restrictions. Upon sign- , <br />ing and notarizing the certificate, it was given to <br />Mr. Snow for mailing to Miss Spencer. <br />BLACKSTOCK <br />The Board discussed next with Mr. Stevens the <br />_ <br />status of the matter in regard to obtaining ease - <br />SUN <br />ments shown on the definitive subdivision plan <br />VALLEY <br />entitled "Section Eight of Sun Valley Lexington, <br />SrC. 8 <br />Mass.", dated June 231 1955 and approved by the <br />Board on September 6, 1955. It was pointed out <br />that on October 22, 1957 Mr. Stevens had sent to <br />Yr. George J. DeVries, President of the DeVrIes <br />Construction Co., Inc. a memorandtn enclosing three <br />instruments to be executed for the purpose of <br />granting from the owners of Lots 150 and 151 (L.C. <br />Lots 19 and 20, respectively) an easement across <br />said lots for all purposes for which town ways are <br />commonly used. It was reported that Mr. Blackstock, <br />owner of Lot 151, not wishing to grant an easement <br />for public travel, had conferred with Mr. Stevens <br />and inquired whether or not the Town was insisting <br />on said easement. In order that the matter could be <br />discussed in detail with Mr. Blackstock, Mr. Stevens <br />had arranged for Mr. Blackstock to meet with the <br />Board at 8:30 p.m. <br />, <br />Mr. Blackstock came to the meeting and stated <br />that he and many residents in the Sun Valley develop- <br />
