Johnson, surveyor. <br />It was moved, seconded and unanimously <br />'DOTED: That the Lexin(-tor_ Planning Board determines <br />that the plans accompanying Form A applica- <br />tions #58-2, #58-3, and #594 do not require <br />approval and that said plans be signed bear- <br />ing the endorsement "Lexington Planning <br />Board approval under the Subdivision Control <br />Law not required." <br />SCHOOL <br />At 9:051 n.m. M --s. Morey and Messrs. Greeley and <br />STTT1s3 u, <br />Steele of the School Sites Committee, Mrs. ?{unless and <br />RECREATTON <br />Messrs. Allen, Ferguson, Kelley and 'Jells of the Recrea- <br />C,_MTTTEES <br />tion Committee net in joint session with the Planning <br />Bo -rd to discuss future school sites and lard needed <br />for future recreation. Mr. Greeley reviewed the nro- <br />gram of the School Sites Committee showing on a map the <br />location of existing; and recommended sites for elementary <br />and junior hip, -.h schools. He pointed out that the committee <br />was working on the principle of providing on each school <br />site land adaptable for a platy area. He stated that the <br />size of each elementary school site was 10-12 acres with <br />about 5-8 acres available for recreation use and that the <br />si-e of each junior high school site was 25-30 acres W th <br />apnroximately 1K-20 acres available for recreation pur- <br />poses. <br />It was decided that the Planning Board would meet <br />with the Recreation Committee ar;ain to discuss the Board's <br />recommendations for additional recreational areas. <br />Thereu-)on, the members of the two committees left the <br />meeting at 10:15 ~i.m. <br />The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. <br />Levi G.
