1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />November 18, 1957 <br />A regular meeting of the Lexington Planning <br />Board was held in the Town Engineer's Room, Town <br />Office Building, on Monday, November 19, 1957 at <br />7:30 p.m. Present -were Chairman Grindle, Members <br />Abbott, Burnell, < Jaquith and Soule,and Planning <br />Director Snow. <br />The Board approved the minutes of November Sand MINUTES <br />12, 1957. <br />The Board approved also payment of $3.75 to BILL <br />Spaulding -Moss Co. for a bill for drafting supplies. <br />Considered next was a preliminary plan which <br />had been left wi th`th the Board last spring by Mr. Joyce, <br />said plan showing a proposal for development of a small <br />parcel of land fronting on 0ak Street and located <br />southeasterly of Bruce Road. -Mr. Snow reported that <br />Mr. Larson of Arlington had come to the office the <br />previous week claiming the plan which had no title or <br />identification and seeking an informal opinion regard- <br />ing said plan. It appeared that an opinion concerning <br />the proposal had not been conveyed to Mr. Larson. The <br />Board decided, therefore, to write Mr. Larson a letter <br />stating that it would not approve his plan for the <br />reason that the turnaround on the dead-end street did <br />not conform to theTown's subdivision regulations. It <br />was decided also to return to Mr. Larson a marked print <br />showing the Board's suggestion for the development of <br />his land. <br />LARSON <br />OAK ST. <br />SUBDIVISION <br />At Mr. Busa's request the Board met with him at GREEN <br />$00 p.m. to discuss its October 10, 1957 letter to Mr. VALLEY <br />Busa and his plans for his -Green Valley development. <br />Mr. Busa presented a plan on tracing paper sh owing exist- <br />ing and proposed road locations and renewed his request <br />for the extension of Lillian Road in a southwesterly <br />direction, stating that he proposed to extend said road <br />in a northeasterly direction to Munroe Brook and still <br />later connect Lillian Road with Lowell Street, - Xr. Busa <br />left the meeting at 8:30 p.m. at which time the plans <br />were taken under advisement. <br />Mr. Gaper, Superintendent of Public Works, then STREET <br />met briefly with the Board, at its request, to discuss SIGNS <br />the matter of street signs.
