seconded by Mr. Abbott and unanimously <br />VOTED: That the definitive subdivision plan en- ' <br />titled "Green Valley Section Two Lexing- <br />ton, Mass.", dated Mar. 12, 1957, which <br />was submitted to the Board by Antonio <br />Busa on March 26, 1956, accompanied by <br />an application for approval of defini- <br />tive plan, Form C, dated March 22, 1957s <br />be and hereby is approved. <br />FORM A Mr. Snow reported that he had conferred with Mr. <br />Gould, attorney for Frances May Baskin, in regard to <br />the ownership of the Baskin property shown on the plan <br />accompanying Form A application #57-44 and had pre- <br />pared the plan for endorsement accordingly. Thereupon <br />it was moved by Mr. Soule, seconded by Mr. Adams and <br />unanimously <br />VOTED: That approval under the Subdivision Con- <br />trol Law is not required on condition, as <br />represented to the Board, that Lots A and <br />C are to be conveyed to Frances May Baskin, <br />the owner of adjoining existing parcel of <br />land and that upon such conveyance said <br />lots and parcel shall be deemed combined <br />into one tract for all purposes under the I Subdivision Control Law. <br />SUBDIVISION The Board next considered a draft of a memoran- <br />RULES AND dum prepared by Mr. Snow incorporating suggestions <br />REGULATIONS both he and Mr. Stevens had previously recommended to <br />the Board to clarify difficulties arising from identi- <br />fying properly various sheets of subdivision plans. <br />After due consideration it was moved by Mr. Adams, <br />seconded by Mr. Soule and unanimously voted to approve <br />said memorandum. (See addendum.) <br />ASSOCIATES Mr. Stevens left the meeting at 9:25 p.m. at <br />REALTY which time the Board met with Messrs. Stephen Hopkins, <br />TRUST President; Arthur B. Bell, Treasurer; and David V. <br />Sullivan, one of the trustees of the Associates Realty <br />Trust. Mr. Bell, speaking for the group stated that <br />the Trust has received the Board's April 16, 1957 <br />letter notifying said Trust of the Board's vote of <br />April 15, 1957 that the design and type of architec- <br />ture for the proposed hotel building of the Trust as <br />shown in the sketch submitted to the Board on the <br />latter date was approved. Mr. Bell stated that the <br />Trust had met and decided to ask the Board for an <br />additional letter in which it was stated that if the ' <br />Trust revised its hotel plans in accordance with the <br />memoranda it had received by the Board that said <br />Board would approve the plans when submitted. Speak- <br />ing for the Board Mr. Jaquith replied that what the <br />Trust was seeking was assurance by the Board that it <br />would approve plans it had not seen and that the Plan- <br />ning Board proposed to take no action on said hotel <br />
