1 <br />1 <br />PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br />Monday, November 1, 1954 <br />Presents Adams, Grindle, Hathaway, Irwin, Jaquith, Ripley - Snow, Stevens. <br />Meeting opened at 8 o'clock. <br />Hearing - BATTLE GREEN <br />Public hearing was held at 8 o'clock on petition of Mrs. Eleanor Ross <br />for extension of Constitution Rd., Battle Green Subdivision. Mrs. Ross and Mr. <br />Nylander appeared, no others present. Plan to be returned to have temporary <br />easement changed to "Temporary Turnaround." <br />Universal Development Corp.11 / 1 <br />CWT. •+ J�f�iia�/ Oh <br />Mr, De Carlo of Miert, Mr, Sidney Lipton of X97440 , and Mr. Dixon <br />of Brookline appeared for informal discussion. As creditors of the Universal <br />Builders, Inc. and Universal Development Corp. they have taken over the sub- <br />divisions of Adams Estate (Universal Development Corp.) and Flintlock R"IA <br />(Universal Builders, Inc.). They wished to know the status of these deve op- <br />ments and what procedure they could take. They were advised to write a letter <br />asking specific questions for information they desired. <br />Ledgelawn Ave. <br />After some discussion Mr. Hathaway moved, Mr. Irwin seconded and so <br />VOTED: that Mr. Friel be notified that the Board does not wish to have <br />the area shown on the plan as easement 40' wide made passable <br />for vehicles and that it desires an adequate barrier to be <br />erected or placed at the northerly end of Ledgelawn Ave. to pre- <br />vent the passage of vehicles. <br />Vine Valley <br />Mr. Hathaway moved, Mr. Grindle seconded and so <br />VOTED: that the plan of Vine Valley, Grant St. Extension dated July <br />10, 1953 by Fred A. Joyce, C.E, be signed bearing the endorse - <br />went "Approval voted.prior to amendment of Zoning By-law <br />adopted Nov. 30, 1953, Lots 7 thru 16 inclusive do not comPY <br />with the amended zoning by-law." <br />Announcement was made of Hearing to be held in State House on November <br />8 in proposal for State Planning Board. W. Snow to attend. <br />Announcement also made of Annual Planning Conference of this Mass. Fed- <br />eration of Planning Boards to be held Nov. 5.6 at Springfield.
