Recommendations are left until after precinct meetings. , <br />Acceptance of Streets <br />Letter read from the Board of Selectmen stating they were recom- <br />mending the acceptance of the following streets; Under the Betterment Act; <br />Bertwell Road, Buckman Drive, Dawes Road, Oak Terrace and Williams Road. <br />Not under the Betterment Act; Appletree Lane, Barberry Road, Ballard Ter- <br />race, Bates Road, Battle Green Road, Benjamin Road, Castle Road, Field Road, <br />Holton Road, Hutchinson Road, Lantern Lane, Minute Man Lane, Patterson Road, <br />Peachtree Road, Peartree Drive, Philip Road, Scotland Road, Stearns Road, <br />Webster Road, Wildwood Road, Williams Road and Wyman Road. Mr. Potter moved, <br />Mr. Irwin seconded, that this recommendation be approved. So voted. <br />Mr. Stevens was asked whether or not he felt the Board should <br />make statements at Precinct meetings if asked, relative to their feelings <br />towards the zoning amendments as petitioned for by Mr. Blackwell. Mr. <br />Stevens stated that inasmuch ab the Precinct meetings were held for the <br />purpose of securing information he didn't see any reason why the Board mem- <br />bers shouldn't make statements if they wished to. It might give the im- <br />pression if not answered that either the Board was not on the job or was not <br />being frank. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:30 o'clock. <br />Thomas S.
