478 <br />MISC. <br />-5- <br />PROPOSED MEETING WITH SCHOOLS/REPLACE OFFICIALS ON SUBSTANCE USE/ABUSE <br />The Board discussed this subject of substance use/abuse and they decided <br />it was best to wait until the September meeting to get officials of the <br />RePlace and schools together with the Board of Health because the schools will <br />be closing shortly. <br />Mr. Smith told the Board that the Air Force wants some imput from local <br />Boards of Health. They would like to have someone attend a few of their meet- <br />ings. Dr. Asarkof said that he would be happy to attend some meetings represent- <br />ing the Board of Health from Lexington. <br />rDNA The Board of Health discussed the rDNA regulations after having them reviewed <br />REGS. by Town Counsel. The Board went over each regulation to make sure that it was <br />worded just as they wanted. <br />The Board decided not to change or make any changes to the regulations except <br />for Section 8 under Penalties, (a) the penalty was changed from $200.00 per day <br />to $500.00 per day. <br />Mr. Smith said when the regulations were complete Sheldon Krimsky requested <br />the he be given a set of them. <br />The Board wants to start getting the Biohazard Waste Committee together. <br />They discussed how and when to get started. Mr. Smith said he can start by sit- <br />ting down with Susan Adler, Assistant to the Town Manager and discussing this. <br />Mr. Smith told the Board he received a call from the State House News <br />Service in regard to rDNA. <br />The next step of the rDNA Regulations will be to have them published in the <br />Lexington newspaper. <br />MISC. Mr. Smith reported that the summer camps are being inspected at this time. <br />Mr. Smith wanted the Board to know that Bel Canto, Restaurant is being <br />renovated. <br />The following permits were signed by the Board: <br />FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS: <br />W.
