60 <br />-2- <br />After investigation it was found that a resident's oil line had broken <br />underneath their cellar floor, and it had eventually leaked into the brook. <br />It has been determined that the owner of the house that had the oil line <br />break has to pay the company that came and cleaned up the brook. <br />VARIAN Final report - Varian Vacuum soil renovation has been completed. The <br />VACUUM D.E.Q.E. has been overseeing this project. Mr. Smith has the report on this <br />II SOIL if anyone is interested in reading it. <br />REPORT <br />Mr. Smith told the Board that anyone wanting to develop a site in that <br />area has to go through a soil evaluation. <br />Mr. Lambie said the Frail Elderly Program with the Senior Health Aide <br />FRAIL will be out of money in June. Mrs. Tapia was looking for money to continue <br />ELDERLY this program from the Board of Health but Mr. Lambie told the committee that <br />the Board does not have any money to fund this program. <br />Bea Phair thought they could look into getting money through trust funds. <br />Mr. Lambie said that he found out the V.N.A. has a "pretty good" bank <br />account. <br />Mr. Lambie said the V.N.A. asked him if the Board would endorse this pro- <br />gram - the general idea. Mr. Lambie said the program looked pretty good to <br />him. <br />Dr. Goldmann will write a written report for the Board's review to see if <br />they can evaluate this service. <br />Mr. Lambie reported that the nurses said that the elderly will not initially <br />want help but after the nurse goes into check their vital signs, talks to them, <br />etc. then they will take some help. <br />Mr. Lambie said he will forward any information to them. <br />TED FREEMAN <br />RIDGE ESTATES Mr. Ted Freeman of Prescott Village Realty Trust came before the Board in <br />III regard to his plan of Ridge Estates III. <br />Mr. Smith told Mr. Freeman that he had only brought in the preliminary plan <br />for this subdivision to the Health Department. <br />Mr. Freeman apoligized and said he thought he had submitted the definitive <br />plan to the Health Department. He said he would submit the definitive plan <br />tomorrow. <br />Mr. Freeman had a definitive plan with him for the Board's review of water, <br />sewerage, and drainage. The Board reviewed the plan. <br />There is 6 acres of land - there ill be 5 new lots and the removal of one <br />old lot from the old subdivision. Two lots are bounded by conservation land - <br />there is town sewer and water and the electricity will run underground. <br />It will be tied into the existing drainage system that runs into Vinebrook. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
