They feel that it is time now to prepare for this year. They agreed that in a report for the town meeting they should stress how the spraying of pesticides was helpful, and also all the drainage work, water ,management and back packing in the woods away from the population was also a large part of keeping the mosquitoes down. Mr. Smith said Dr. Grady indicated a letter would be going out this week to the Boards of Health in regard to mosquitoes and EEE. The State feels we are going to have a continuance of EEE this year. They also feel that the towns should continue mosquito control and that the towns that arenot.in this program should set money aside and get into the program. Mr. Smith said he will get together with Dr. Henley, :.M.M.C.P.soon and and if he doesn't hear from Dr. Grady in a week he will call him. Mr. Smith said it has been rumored that Collaborative Re,learch wants to (DNA DNA Research over in their Lexington facilities on Spring Street. The Board said they should start putting some regulations together. When they are completed, then go to the Selectmen and say " This is our regulations, what is the next step and what do you want us to do now? Remind the Selectmen that they are going to put a committee together. Dr. Erdos said that they (the Health 3oard) should look over all the copies of regulations that they have, pick the best of each, put ours togeher and have thein ready. The Board agreed that it is their responsibility to have the regulations ready and then ask the Selectmen what is their next move.
