Street needs cleaning up, also, Mr. Smith said Keshian will probably have <br />to be taken to court. <br />Rollins has cleaned up their place. The Town Engineer went out to look <br />at the fill-in problem at Rollins and said he doesn't think it is too bad. <br />"Meals on Wheels" - Mr. Smith said he had Ruth Sawyer of Meals on Wheels <br />into the office, as he had 3 complaints of the quality and conditions of <br />the food. <br />Mr. Smith said we had heard from the State that we will be allotted some <br />flu vaccine this year. Mr. Smith said that the Department will purchase <br />some because of not getting a full allotment. <br />The owner of the property at 22 Bowker Street has an overflowing septic <br />system and will not do anything about it. Mr. Smith said when he comes <br />back from vacation he is going to file a complaint in the Concord Court. <br />Mr. Smith reported that the Fourth of July weekend carnival went over very <br />well. They had brought some horses in for rides but he made them get rid <br />of them. <br />They wanted to sell sausages this year at the carnival but he refused to <br />let them do this. He siad if it get real busy on the food counter, they <br />would not cook the sausages well enough. He said they would have to submit <br />a request in writing to sell them at the carnival next year. <br />Mr. Smith told the Board that he had gone to Denny's Restaurant and Mario's <br />Restaurant because of reports that an employee in each restaurant had Salmonella. <br />He told the managers that the employee would have to stop working until two <br />negatives/cultures were had. <br />Mr. Smith said that the V.N.A. did not handle these communicable diseases <br />properly. They telephoned instead of going to the homes. <br />The Board agreed to hold an informal, daytime meeting in the Board of Health <br />in August to discuss current topics of the Department.
